Mrs. Bhakti Samant, MSc, RD, is a nationally recognized Clinical Nutritionist with over 20 years of experience in medical nutrition therapy, critical care, and metabolic health. She currently serves as the Chief Clinical Dietitian at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai, and is a leading voice in clinical nutrition practice and education. She holds the prestigious ESPEN Diploma in Clinical Nutrition and is an ESPEN LLL Teacher, actively contributing to global academic advancement. Her credentials include certifications in Low FODMAP (Monash University), Ketogenic Therapy, Bariatric Nutrition, Pediatric Oncology Nutrition (SIOP-PODC Fellowship), and Body Composition Analysis. Bhakti has authored textbook chapters, published in high-impact journals like ESPEN, PENSA, and the Journal of Nutrition Research, and presented extensively at national and international conferences. Her work has earned her numerous honors, including the Dr. Tarita Shankar Award for Excellence (2025), Healthcare & Leadership Award (2025), and IAPEN Excellence Awards in Nutrition Research, Medical Nutrition Therapy, and Therapeutic Food Service.
Ms. Mugdha Deshpande
Mugdha Deshpande, R.D., CDE, Ph.D. (Thesis Submitted) is a nutrition scientist, registered dietitian, and certified diabetes educator with expertise in maternal and child nutrition, metabolism, and public health research. She has completed her doctoral research in Health Sciences at Savitribai Phule Pune University (Hirabai Cowasji Jehangir Medical Research Institute).
With over 8 years of experience in clinical and community nutrition, she has conducted longitudinal and epidemiological research across rural and urban India and has published in peer-reviewed international journals. She is also actively involved in teaching and capacity building in scientific writing, data analysis, and evidence-based nutrition practice.
